[Video Highlights] QPR 1-0 Tottenham: Taarabt Free-Kick Sinks Spurs

Queens Park Rangers beat Tottenham 1-0 at Loftus Road thanks to a first half free-kick from Spurs old boy Adel Taarabt. The Moroccan curled home a lovely right-footed effort after 24 minutes, but was later sent off for a second yellow card to make it a nervy last 10 minutes for the home side.

The win is a major boost to QPR’s survival hopes, and lifts Mark Hughes’ side up to 17th in the league. But the loss comes as a huge dent to Tottenham’s hopes of a top four finish, with Spurs now lying in fifth place. Watch highlights from the game here:
