[Video Highlights] Barcelona 2-2 (2-3 agg) Chelsea: Torres Fires Blues To Final

By on April 24, 2012

10-man Chelsea produced one of the most incredible performances in recent history to beat Barcelona 3-2 on aggregate and reach the final of the Champions League.

Barca levelled the tie when Busquets tapped home for 1-0 (1-1 on agg) before Blues captain John Terry was inexplicably sent off for kneeing Sanchez off the ball. Shortly after Chelsea looked dead and buried when Messi set up Iniesta who slotted home to put Barca 2-1 up on aggregate. However, the game took an unexpected turn when Lampard sent Ramires free for the Brazilian to score with a stunning chip to put Chelsea back in control at 2-1 (2-2 on agg). As the home side pressed for the winner Chelsea hit them on the break when Torres raced clear to score the equaliser and put the Blues through 3-2 on aggregate. Watch highlights here:

There’s nothing incredible about playing a game of football with 8 men lined across the 18 yard box. A good victory for Chelsea but it was one of the worst games I’ve seen in the CL for a long time.

Archer..First of all hearty congrats to the Brave hearts..Chelsea! In more ways than one, Chelsea ripped the “So called” invincible team Barca apart!! The only way to play them was exactly what Chelsea portrayed tonight mate. You cant attack them at will..then wait for your chances and that is the exact way to score against Barcelona which the Blues did. Barca played well?? Ya the usual stuff..no one can steal Chelsea’s thunder mate. 10 underdogs growled their way through Barcelona’s face and before I forget “On their TURF”!! Cheers.

u cannot say the worst game in ucl..how can u stop messi n co..play defend and attack when u can..that what chelsea did..because players like bosingwa n cole tend too open too much space..that why they defend..
