With the summer transfer window almost open, we’ll aim to keep you up-to-date with all the latest transfer news. Today’s sees an Arsenal and Man City target rule out a move to the Premier League.

Younes-Belhanda

Arsenal and Manchester City target Younes Belhanda has ruled out leaving Montpellier this summer, according to talkSPORT.

The report claims that both the Gunners and the newly-crowned Premier League champions are interested in signing Belhanda, who has recently been named Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year.

Arsenal have been tracking the winger all season and are said to be lining up a move for the Moroccan ace, while City are believed to see the 22-year-old as an alternative to Eden Hazard, who they are favourites to sign this summer.

However, Montpellier are just one game away from sealing the Ligue 1 title and with it Champions League football next season, and Belhanda insists he wants to stick around for at least another season to play amongst Europe’s elite with his current club. Quoted by talkSPORT, Belhanda said:

“I want to stay. Playing the Champions League with my club is something extraordinary.”

So Belhanda won’t be coming to the Premier League, but who would you like your club to sign? Get involved in the comments section.
