By on June 6, 2012

Arsenal youngster Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain enjoyed a fine debut season with the Gunners after signing from Southampton in the summer of 2011. Nobody could have predicted he would make such an impact as he made 26 appearances, scoring four goals, and showed signs of becoming an important first team player at the Emirates.

The 18-year-old could only have dreamed about playing for England 12 months ago, but those dreams came true only days ago as Chamberlain was a shock inclusion in Roy Hodgson’s Euro 2012 squad and made his debut for the Three Lions as a second half sub against Norway before earning his first start against Belgium on Saturday.

No doubt ‘The Oxe’ has a bright future ahead of him, but here are some highlights of his breakthrough season with the Gunners.
