Arsenal will officially announce the signing of France striker Olivier Giroud after this summers European championships, if reports from talkSPORT are to be believed.
The report claims that the Gunners have already completed a deal to sign the Montpellier front-man, but all parties have agreed not to formally announce the transfer until after Euro 2012.
Giroud has been strongly linked with a move to the Emirates in recent weeks after an excellent season with Montpellier, where his 21 league goals helped them to their first ever Ligue 1 trophy, and it seems the transfer has now been concluded.
The 25-year-old is understood to have agreed a four-year deal with the Gunners paying around £12m for his services.
Sky Sports News are also reporting that Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign Giroud, adding further weight to the story.
While there is still no official confirmation from the clubs, it does seem like Giroud is Arsenal-bound this summer.
His signing will boost the Gunners attacking options next season and will hopefully be further proof to captain Robin van Persie that the club mean business next season. Welcome to Arsenal Olivier!
