Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas is continuing to re-shape his new squad after launching an £11m bid to sign Brazilian youngster Oscar, according to the Daily Mail.

AVB wasted little time in securing his first signing after completing an £8m deal to land Gylfi Sigurdsson on Wednesday and has followed that up by making an official approach to Internacional for midfielder Oscar.

Spurs will have to improve upon their opening bid of £11m if they are to land the 20-year-old though, as the Mail claim that the Brazilians value the starlet at nearer £20m. However, it’s believed that both clubs, as well as the player, are keen to secure a deal and further talks are expected.

Villas-Boas sees the exciting youngster as a replacement for Luka Modric, who is expected to leave the club this summer.

The report also claims that AVB has made a goalkeeper a priority this summer and is considering a swoop for Lyon’s Hugo Lloris.

Modric is class but when he’s annonymous he’s useless!! Moutinho would be interesting I think, I think Huddlestone may be on the way out which is a shame because his passing and shooting technique are second to none and he adds a very physical presence to the midfield. Zero mobility though and AVB likes movement and pace

Hudd as a physical presence? He is a big unit but has as much physical presence as thora hird.

Someone mentioned Erikkson. Didn’t we pre sign him some months ago? I am sure I read it a few months back that we signed him. Any truth in that?
