Arsenal forward Benik Afobe was on the scoresheet as England under 19’s were knocked out of the European championships after a 2-1 semi-final defeat to Greece.
England fell behind before Afobe won a penalty after goalkeeper Stefanos Kapino brought him down in the box, but Rob Hall saw his spot kick saved.
However, it didn’t take long before England were level, as Afobe headed home a Hall cross for 1-1. Despite their numerical advantage the young lions couldn’t find a winner and were made to pay when Charalambos Lykogiannis netted an extra time winner to send England crashing out.
