Juve Officials To Fly In For Suarez Talks

By on July 14, 2012

With the summer transfer window in full swing, Football Talk will be keeping you up-to-date with all the latest transfer news throughout the summer. Today, Juventus are once again linked with Luis Suarez.

Luis-Suarez-Liverpool

Italians champions Juventus have refused to give up on signing Luis Suarez this summer and will look to hold talks with Liverpool next week, according to talkSPORT.

The report claims that Suarez remains the Serie A giants number one transfer target this summer as they look to add a marquee name to the squad ahead of their return to the champions league next season.

talkSPORT believe the clubs sporting director, Giuseppe Marotta, will fly to Merseyside next week to meet with Liverpool officials to discuss a possible transfer.

It’s understood Marotti is confident he can land the 25-year-old after reports emerged from Uruguay suggesting the striker would be open to a move to Juve this summer.

However, new Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers claimed earlier this week that he has already held positive talks with Suarez over extending his contract and the former Swansea manager won’t let his star striker leave without a fight.

Football Talk Verdict

I’m not convinced by this latest piece of transfer gossip from talkSPORT. Suarez is under contract with Liverpool and hasn’t been agitating for a move, despite the reports coming from Uruguay recently, which could very well have been taken out of context.

I don’t think there is any chance Suarez will leave Anfield this summer, as Rodgers will be looking to build his new-look side around the talented forward. The chances are, if Marotti does fly to Merseyside next week, he’ll quickly be told to forget about signing Suarez before jumping on the next flight back to Turin.

We should let him go for 50 mil min!! Anything less they can get lost. I love him but Torres was twice the player, and he went for 50 mil. Imagine if we have both if them!! We would win the league. Did u notice how torres didn’t have a Chelsea scarph at the euros! He loves Liverpool. YNWA

If he goes for about 45 million, LFC should get 1 African and one Brazilian striker. Those are the two most skillful types of strikers I can think of. Krasic might not come cos LFC don;t have champions league.

Firstly, Juve officials do not just fly to a club to have show down talks unless they have contacted the club and been given permission to speak to a player. Secondly, Rogers and Suarez have stated time and time again that they are working to guild Liverpool and that Suarez is a key member of that.

At this moment and as reported, Suarez is negotiating a new contract. This was orchestrated by Rogers.

Yet again it is the media trying to stir things up in the Liverpool camp for no reason. Liverpool now are trying to go about their business in a quiet way and rebuild the side yet the media still want to upset the cart. Poor, again!!!

Haha! This is funny! No chance of this happening! He’s very happy here and for me the only problem we have is if the big 2 Spanish clubs come knocking.

we must never forgot what we recieved from juve.first the 1985 final and then with lots of promises about aquilani.they said that they are going to sign him at the end of the season but nothing happend and instead they dropped his price instantly and from a 20 million player they gave us a 7million player.so go to hell and if you want to buy go somewhere else.

Juve officials should forget about flying to england because they will be wasting their time and money.
