[Video] Arsenal Defender Like You’ve Never Seen Him Before

The video below shows Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen dressed as a traditional Chinese warrior and performing Shaolin kung fu martial arts as part of the Gunners promotional video for the clubs up-coming Asia tour.

The idea behind the video came after Arsenal’s tour to Asia last summer, when fans created banners depicting the players as Chinese warriors and displayed them at an open training session in Hangzhou.

The strap-line for the promotional video reads “We’ve done our homework, now we’re heading back: Arsenal’s Asia Tour 2012″. Watch the video here and see Thomas doing his stuff.
