[Video] Shanghai Shenhua 0-1 Man Utd: Kagawa Nets Winners

Manchester United saw off Shanghai Shenhua thanks to a solitary goal scored by summer signing Shinji Kagawa.

Kagawa produced a fine overall display and scored the winner, firing home from close range after good work from Bebe down the left wing.

Without marquee signings Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka, Shenhua offered little threat to United’s backline but proved to be a stubborn side to break down.

After a tame first half, it took until the 68th minute to break the deadlock, Bebe stormed down the left before finding Kagawa who took a touch before lashing home.

The win secured the Chevrolet China Cup, as Fergie’s men warm up for the new season ahead. Watch highlights here:
