Victor Wanyama

Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama, according to the Daily Mail.

The report claims that the Premier League giants sent scouts to watch the 21-year-old during Celtic’s 1-0 defeat to Norwich in Tuesday nights pre-season friendly.

Wanyama only moved to Celtic 12 months ago from Belgian side Beerschot AC but enjoyed a superb debut season in Scotland, becoming an important member of Neil Lennon’s first team.

However, the versatile Kenyan has become frustrated at the SPL champions after being played in defence rather than his preferred position of defensive midfield, and has made it clear he would jump at the chance of a move to England.

Arsene Wenger and Sir Alex Ferguson are now weighing up their next moves but may face competition from Queens Park Rangers and Stoke if they decide to make their interest official with a firm offer, and the Mail claim it would take a bid of around £7m to persuade Celtic into a sale.

Considering the support of Arsenal in Kenya that can be a milestone signing. Mr Wenger look at the defense. See what happened at the NEST.

Wenger should solve our defence lapses,so dat we can win d league.arsenal players are too lazy, they dont cover 4 each other.why barca win trophies is dat they attack well and defend well by covering 4 each other bt arsenal players dont.when d opponent is attackin us,u will see arsenal players running sluggishly to cover up.when we lose d ball,u will never see an arsenal player charging 4 d ball d way barca players usually do,leaving no room 4 d opponent to attack them.if wenger is trying to inbuild arsenal to play like barca, then he has to build up our defence to be strong.wenger is only concerned building d attack and midfield, how about d defence dat is d weak point 4 us.

We are luck to have wenger as arsenal coach bt nt luck to have d set of board members in arsenal.they are only concerned about riches, profits nt happiness of d fans.we arsenal fans desire trophies/sllver to be won nt announcement of riches, profits made.To win trophies u have to invest in quality players, dat is when we can challenge wit others.players like demsey will be a great addition 4 us.
