Tottenham went closest to grabbing a winner with Aaron Lennon hitting the post, while summer signing Gylfi Sigurdsson saw a header well saved by Brad Jones.
Both sides seemed to be affected by the heat and neither side could find a breakthrough with the game ending 0-0. Watch highlights from the game here:
