La Liga Expert: Arsenal Must Up €20m Bid To Land Cazorla

By  Published: 31st July 2012

With the summer transfer window in full swing, Football Talk will be keeping you up-to-date with all the latest transfer news throughout the summer. Today, Arsenal are told to increase their offer for Santi Cazorla.

Santi-Cazorla

La Liga expert Graham Hunter has told Arsenal they will have to pay more than €20m if they want to sign Malaga winger Santi Cazorla.

Hunter was talking to talkSPORT when he gave an update on the situation surrounding troubled Malaga and the proposed move of Cazorla to Arsenal.

While Hunter acknowledged that the Spanish international wants a move to north London, he suggests the Gunners wont be able to persuade the La Liga club to part company with their prized asset for €20m.

Malaga are in severe financial difficulty and have amassed debts in unpaid wages, transfer fees and taxes and have until tomorrow to resolve their outstanding debts or they face relegation to Serie B and kicked out the Champions League.

Cazorla is one of several players who are waiting on unpaid wages and it seems the 27-year-old has had enough and wants out, with his agent believed to have told the club on Monday he wants to join Arsenal.

However, if Hunter is correct, Arsene Wenger will have to up the €20m bid he currently has on the table if he is to land the talented midfielder this summer.

We haven’t signed him already so this article is just fine. The above comment got me overly excited but after numerous checks, the signing hasn’t been announced anywhere.
Cazorla would be a great signing, I’ve only seen him a few times but I spoke to my father on the phone the other day who lives in spain and is a massive Gooner aswell. He told me that he is a brilliant player, he gets comparison towards Xavi and Iniesta but he is apparently much more similar to David Silva. Seeing how influential David Silva was for Man City and how he fitted in just fine in the English game then that boosts me with confidence. I read a comment the other day that compared all are past playmakers and i agree, thats is are most needed position.

I wish that anybody who is more focused on commenting about spelling and punctuation rather than Arsenal would just get lost. Einstein was dyslexic, it doesn’t make you intelligent to comment on other people’s difficulties, It makes you ignorant.

You are a fine one to talk. Whilst your spelling is OK the grammar is non existent, no punctuation and no capital letters.

Maybe it just didn’t occur to you to include punctuation in your little rant.
