Salomon Rondon has hinted he would be happy to leave Malaga amid reports Tottenham have tabled a £10m bid for the striker.

The Spanish outfit are in desperate need to raise funds after racking up over £40m worth of debts, and the club have been threatened with relegation if repayments are not made soon.

Midfielder Santi Cazorla is set to move to Tottenham’s north London rivals Arsenal in a £17m deal and it seems Spurs are set to follow suit and raid the troubled La Liga side, with Sky Sports News claiming they have submitted a £10m bid for striker Salomon Rondon.

The 22-year-old has come out and hinted he would be ready to leave if the situation doesn’t subside at Malaga soon, with Spurs offering him a way out.

“If the situation is not fixed, it is normal that players would leave.”

Rondon is quoted as saying by Sky Sports

The Venezuela international scored 11 goals in La Liga last season and helped guide the club to a fourth placed finish, earning them a place in the champions league for the first time in their history. However, if their debts aren’t settled soon UEFA may be forced to withdraw their licence to play in competition.
