Arsenal goalkeeper Manuel Almunia, who has been linked with a move away from the club, has started as captain in Arsenal’s latest pre-season friendly this evening against SC Neusiedl. Samir Nasri was a late call-up for Thomas Rosicky who picked up a knock just before kick-off.

Arsenal team:

Almunia (C), Nordveit, Koscienlny, Djourou, Gibbs, Nasri, Wilshere, Arshavin, Walcott, Frimpong, Emmanuel-Thomas.
