[Video] Cologne 0-4 Arsenal: Podolski Hits Brace As Impressive Gunners Net Four

Arsenal finished off their pre-season preparations with an impressive 4-0 win over FC Cologne. The friendly was the first opportunity for the Gunners faithful to see summer signings Lukas Podolski, Olivier Giroud and Santi Cazorla in action for their new club and the trio didn’t disappoint.

Striker Podolski, who was signed from Sunday’s opponents earlier this summer, bagged a brace with Thomas Vermaelen and Gervinho also getting on the scoresheet. Want-away striker Robin van Persie replaced Podolski after 69 minutes but got a mixed reception from the travelling Arsenal support.
