West Ham have rejected a bid from Tottenham Hotspur for midfielder Scott Parker, according to Sky Sports News.

Reports in recent days have linked the North London club with a move for Parker, but West Ham were lining up a £75,000pw contract offer to tempt him in to staying at Upton Park. Now it seems Spurs have stepped up their interest and tabbled a firm offer, but the Hammers have knocked them back.

West Ham co-owner David Sullivan has insisted the club will not go back on a promise they made not to sell Scott Parker for any price.

“I made a promise that i would not sell Scott Parker and i will not, for any amount of money, break that promise to the West Ham supports.

Scott is not for sale at any price to anyone.” Sullivan told Sky Sports News
