The agent of German defender Sedar Tasci has said his client has huge respect for Arsenal amid rumours they have held talks with the player over a potential move to the Emirates.
The Sun claims that Arsenal have already spoken with the player and his club Stuttgard, but are yet to decide whether to make a formal bid. Tasci, 23, was linked with both Arsenal and Tottenham at the start of the summer, while Italian giants Juventus are also monitoring his situation.
Uli Ferber, Tasci’s agent, has told the Sun that the defender likes English football and hinted a move to Arsenal could be on the cards.
Ferber said in The Sun: “Serdar admires English football and has huge respect for Arsenal.”
Tasci is contracted with Stuttgard until 2014 and it’s believed he has an £18.5m buy-out clause but Arsenal are looking to do a deal closer to £10m for the player who can play at both right-back and centre-back.
