Manchester United got off to a disappointing start to the new season with a 1-0 loss to Everton at Goodison Park.
Marouane Fellaini was a constant threat in the visitors side and capped off a fine display with the winner early in the second half. New Man Utd signing Robin van Persie was introduced from the bench but couldn’t help his new team mates salvage anything from the game.
Although it’s early days, Fergie will not be happy about having to play catch-up on title rivals Man City and Chelsea, who both recorded victories on Sunday.
