[Teams] Chelsea vs Newcastle: Confirmed Line-ups

Chelsea welcome Newcastle United to Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening looking to make it three wins from three in the Premier League.

The Blues kicked off the new season with a 2-0 win away to Wigan before going three points clear at the top of the league with a 4-2 victory over Reading in midweek.

Roberto di Matteo has decided to leave out Ramires and Frank Lampard for the game, with Meireles and Bertrand coming in. John Terry misses out with a neck injury, Gary Cahill replaces him at the back.

Here are the confirmed line-ups

Chelsea Team

Cech; Ivanovic, Cahill, Luiz, Cole; Meireles, Mikel, Mata; Hazard, Torres, Bertrand

SUBS: Turnbull, Essien, Romeu, Lampard, Ramires, Oscar, Sturridge.

Newcastle Team

Krul; Simpson, S Taylor, Coloccini, Santon; Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Anita, Gutierrez; Ba, Cisse

SUBS:  Harper, R Taylor, Williamson, Anita, Gosling, Obertan, Shola Ameobi.

    Thumbs up for RDM and Sir Alex. AVB should learn the England game and he is not ready to listen. He’ll soon be shown the exit door at white heart lane.
