[Video Highlights] Stoke 0-0 Arsenal: Gunners Misfire Again

By on August 26, 2012

Arsenal laboured to a second successive 0-0 draw after a stalemate at the Britannia Stadium against Stoke City today.

The Gunners were always in control of the game and looked surprisingly solid at the back. Stand-in goalkeeper Vito Mannone was a virtual bystander, so there are certainly positives to be taken from the game for Arsene Wenger.

However, the lack of cohesion up front will be a concern and something we need to rectify quickly. The new forwards will take time to gel but with Liverpool away next week and no goals in the opening two games, they need to do it quickly!

Here are ‘highlights’ from todays bore draw.

I love Giroud. I can not wait until the balls come flying his way hes not as tech nically gifted as Van Persie but he just like RVP goes for everything possible. Once he starts hitting the target he will be unstoppable.
