[Video] Arsenal’s Conor Henderson Scores Stunning 35-Yarder vs Italy
By Gooner Mac Published: 11th September 2012Arsenal youngster Conor Henderson was in action for Ireland under 21′s as they recorded an impressive 4-2 away victory over Italy on Monday night in their European Under-21 championship qualifier.
With Ireland already 2-1 up Henderson smashed home from fully 35-yards to make it 3-1 midway through the second half.
The 20-year-old saw his career halted by a cruciate ligament injury sustained in a pre-season game against Cologne 14 months ago, but he is now fully fit and ready to try and break into the Arsenal first team squad.
A few more goals like this one wouldn’t hurt his chances, that’s for sure!
