[Video Highlights] Tottenham 2-4 Chelsea: Mata Inspires Blues Turnaround

By on October 20, 2012

Juan Mata inspired a Chelsea comeback as the Blues came from 2-1 down to beat Tottenham 4-2 at White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon.

The European champions took a first-half lead when Gary Cahill smashed home a volley from inside the box but Spurs levelled just after the break when Gallas was on hand to tap home from close range.

Tottenham then took the lead through Defoe but Chelsea came storming back and went 3-2 ahead thanks to a quick-fire double from Mata. The Spaniard then set up substitute Daniel Sturridge for a late fourth as Roberto Di Matteo’s side extended their lead at the top of the table.
