Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere continued his long road to recovery with another 90 minutes of football, this time playing a starring role for the under-21’s in a 2-1 win over Everton on Monday afternoon.

Wilshere has been on the sidelines for over 14 months but stepped up his return with an impressive outing for the under-21’s, and was involved in both Arsenal goals.

The 20-year-old’s pin-point pass set Jernade Meade free down the left wing with Meade setting up Thomas Eisfeld for the equaliser midway through the first half. Wilshere then set up the German attacker to grab his second and what turned out to be the winner for the Gunners when he cut in from the right before teeing up Eisfeld who fired home.

Here are video highlights of the match including all the goals.
