By on October 28, 2012

Tottenham visit St Mary’s Stadium to take on newly-promoted Southampton on Sunday afternoon and we’ve got the teams for you.

Andre Villas-Boas side will be looking to bounce back after last weeks disappointing 4-2 loss at home to Chelsea. The Portuguese boss has decided to stick with Brad Friedel in goal with summer signing Hugo Lloris once again having to make do with a place on the bench.

Clint Dempsey is preferred to Gylfi Sigurdsson in the advanced midfield role while Tom Huddlestone partners Sandro in the heart of the Spurs midfield. Jermaine Defoe continues up front as Emmanuel Adebayor doesn’t even make the bench.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Southampton Team

Boruc, Clyne, Yoshida, Schneiderlin, Fonte, Lambert, S. Davis, Rodriguez, Fox, Lallana, Puncheon.

Subs: K. Davis, Hooiveld, Ward-Prowse, Guly, Mayuka, Chaplow, Reeves.

Tottenham Team

Naughton should be in at left back with Jan partnering one of Caulker (preferably) or Gallas.
