[Video Highlights] Man Utd 2-1 Arsenal: RVP Sinks 10-man Gunners

By on November 3, 2012

Despite the narrow final score, Manchester United comfortably dispatched 10-man Arsenal at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon with former Gunners captain Robin van Persie on the score-sheet.

The Dutchman took less than three minutes to find the net, capitalising on a mistake from Thomas Vermaelen to fire a right footed shot beyond Vito Mannone for 1-0. United were in complete control with Arsenal struggling to create but the visitors were given a lifeline when Rooney missed a golden chance to make it 2-0 just before the break, dragging his penalty wide.

However, Evra did make it 2-0 to the home side with a header before Jack Wilshere was sent off for a second bookable offence. Santi Cazorla put some respectability on the scoreline with a fine goal with the last kick of the game. Watch video highlights below.

It’s not Manchester United’s fault that the so called ‘big four’-(Arse-n-all not being one of them), are all IDIOTS!

Arsenal is not building a team that can win the league for a long tim we have not. The team is build to win 3rd or 4th but with the way is now 1st to 3rd is taken. We compete for 4th, just prayer asrene lives forever.

It is now a well established fact that Arsene Wenger can never in his life time raise a team that can beat ManU again. Shame!!! We need some fresh air at the managerial level.
