[Teams] Liverpool vs Newcastle: Confirmed Line-ups

By on November 4, 2012

Liverpool welcome Newcastle United to Anfield on Sunday afternoon with Brendan Rodgers side looking to bounce back from a week of disappointment.

The Reds threw away a 2-goal lead to draw with Mersey rivals Everton last weekend and were then dumped out of the Capital One Cup after a 3-1 loss at home to Swansea.

Rodgers must continue to make do without goalkeeper Pepe Reina, who’s missed the last five games with a hamstring injury. Brad Jones continues to deputise in goal. Luis Suarez is supported by youngsters Sterling and Suso in attack, with Sahin and Allen playing just behind Gerrard in midfield.

Demba Ba is passed fit for the visitors and starts alongside Cisse up front. Here are the confirmed line-ups for the game.
