On Saturday Giovani Dos Santos put on yet another fine pre season display for Tottenham during their 3-2 win over Fiorentina. He whipped lots of good looking balls into the box, showed good passing ability, slick movement on and off the ball and most importantly, the lad looked sharp and ready.
He must be anxious to prove to Harry Redknapp just what he is capable of on the pitch having a lack of Tottenham games under his belt since Harry’s arrival, and so far I don’t think he has let him down, with Harry praising him afterwards by saying that he has a very good looking future ahead of him.
But where would he play? He’s an attacking midfielder with lots of pace, but who would you sacrifice in midfield to put him there? Or would he be better just behind the striker – he’s certainly proved that he’s capable of setting up goals. Where ever he plays, i think he has proved that he needs to play, and to get the best out of him, surely he needs to be playing regularly.
He’s giving Harry a headache – but it’s certainly a nice one.

Expecting good things from gio this year. Hopefully he’ll show tarrabt how reaching your potential should be done. COYS
Anywhere…give him a run at LW/RW/Hole/ AMC or as a sub for Modric & any of those spots BUT GIVE HIM AT LEAST 30 mins on the pitch per game
BUT not against the kneebreakers of the North until he has some games under his belt.
