Tottenham: Redknapp closes in on keeper

Tottenham are apparently close to signing Croatian keeper Stipe Pletikosa on a season long loan deal.  Pletikosa, currently with Spartak Moscow, has been a long term target for Redknapp has he looks for back-up for Heurelho Gomes.

According to Sky Sports, the Croatian international is currently in London discussing terms with the North London club. It is believed that a deal will be struck within the next 48 hours. If Pletikosa can agree personal terms and pass his medical, he will become Redknapps first signing of the summer.
