Transfer News: Brazilian Working Hard To Secure Move
Despite the transfer window being closed, there is always transfer gossip doing the rounds in the papers and we’ll keep you up-to-date with the latest news during the coming months. Today, Willian is working hard to secure a move.
The Brazilian attacker has made no secret of his desire to move to the Premier League, with Chelsea and Tottenham tracking the player for well over a year.
Shakhtar have so far been able to hang on to the 24-year-old and insist it will take a huge offer to persuade them to sell. However, Willian is confident offers for his services will come in and he’s working hard on the pitch to ensure top clubs come in for him, but until the time comes for him to make the move he will continue to help Shakhtar on their Champions League journey.
“I’m very happy with my moment at the club and I intend to keep living this moment,”
“As for a possible transfer, there will be offers for sure and I work so that it happens.
“My club and my representatives will decide my future. I’m focused on helping Shakhtar to keep making history in the Champions League.”

Chelsea were strongly linked with a move for the attacker in the summer but couldn’t agree a deal with the Ukrainians, and they are expected to renew their interest when the window re-opens in January.
However, the European champions will face competition from Spurs with boss Andre Villas-Boas a huge admirer of the Brazilian’s. The Portuguese coach is keen to add to his attacking options this winter and Willian is high on his wish-list.
