Dimitar Berbatov starts up front with Wayne Rooney for Manchester United at Old Trafford tonight, as the Red Devils host newly promoted Newcastle United.

Van der Sar takes his place in goal protected by a back four consisting of usual first team regulars Vidic and Evra, with O’Shea preferred at right-back and Evans replacing the injured Rio Ferdinand in central defence.

A well balanced midfield of Valencia, Scholes, Fletcher and Nani will provide the firepower for Rooney and Berbatov.
