Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis shares the fans’ frustrations at the clubs poor form this season and insists the club has money available to spend in January, according to Goal.com.

We’ve made our worst start to a Premier League season in Arsene Wenger’s 16 year reign and were dumped out the Capital One Cup in humiliating fashion to League Two Bradford City on Tuesday, with some fans, myself included, questioning the managers position at the club.

Gazidis met with members of the Arsenal Supports Trust on Wednesday night and Goal claim he told them the club is angry at our recent poor form and insists they are working hard to try and deliver success. The American is also understood to have confirmed Wenger will be given funds to strengthen the squad when the transfer window re-opens.

“I’m tired of saying the same message so won’t do so, [but] last night wasn’t good enough and made many of us angry.

“The support was amazing and they deserved better, and it’s something we need to put right.

“We are desperate to deliver that success and only by talking to those of us here will you understand that. I don’t pretend we get everything right, but we really do try to.

“We built our revenues, we built our reserves, [but] we need to do better at how we spend that money. We are a club that’s under pressure.

“The squad needs something. We’ve got money to spend, but does that mean that he’s [potential targets] available. That’s something else.

“My communications with Stan are generally about team performance. Obviously he’s not happy with the way the team is performing.”

Gazidis is quoted as saying by Goal.com

Maybe you are tired of saying the same message, Ivan, but don’t you think we fans are also tired of hearing the same old rubbish from the club? ‘We’re working hard for success’, ‘we wont trophies as much as you do’, ‘we’ve got money to spend’…..we’ve heard it all before and nothing seems to change.

As the old saying goes, actions speak louder than words and people at Arsenal seem to talk a good game but unfortunately the actions don’t quite match up. The time has come for the men at the top to stop speaking and start doing, starting in January. The only way to deliver success is to spend the money you claim is available. Over to you Ivan and Arsene…..

I don’t support Ivan . He seem to deliver lip services . He and Wenger are highly paid st Arsenal yet can’t afford to improve pays of key players taking off for greener pastures. This players would have been pillars of the team.

Ivan is part of Arsenal problems hence why he is hesitant to fire Wenger.
As funs we will press on at every lost game till Wenger leaves as we wellcome Guardiola.

The troubles at Arsenal are to deep for the current manager to sort out, and many are of his own making.

Arsenal should keep Arsene until the end of the season but not give him anymore money to throw away on substandard players.

Arsene was gifted when it came to buying unknown players and turning them into gold, sadly that is no longer the case!

Save any money the club have, say good bye to Arsene at the end of the season and do what ever it takes to get Pep Guardiola in! He will then have a decent amount to bring in the players he feels are needed to arrest the decline at the club!

if Ivan and Wenger mind about Arsenal feature they should usher in Pep Guardiola since we know every coach attracts in different players.. Pep has shown that he can work for arsenal and wenger should get him as his successor…

Spending the transfer market isnt the issue, Its our silly wage structure that is:

We cant afford to pay the wages good players demand because we’re too busy paying the useless players good money e.g Squid, B52, Denilson & Cham all these players earn in excess of 50k a week & it all adds up to us having one of the highest salary bill in the EPL.

Change is needed, Any form of change at Management level is needed.

Time for Wenger to go, even if new players are brought in Wenger won’t inspire them.
    That ship has sailed…
