By on February 9, 2013

Arsenal had to dig deep to grind out three well deserved three points against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Saturday afternoon. The Gunners were firing in the first half and took a deserved lead when Cazorla finished off a fine team move involving Jack Wilshere and Theo Walcott.

Despite creating several chances Arsenal failed to add to their lead and the win was put in severe doubt when Carl Jenkinson was dismissed for a second yellow card on the hour mark. Sunderland made the man advantage count and created a host of chances of their own by Szczesny was equal to anything they could throw at him and Arsenal held on for the win. Great 3 points against a tough opponent but my concern is for Wilshere, after watching how he dominates the centre midfield once again!
