[Video Goals] Man Utd 2-0 Everton: Giggs & RVP Send United 12 Points Clear

Manchester United extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table after beating Everton 2-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

Ryan Giggs opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a right-footed finish from inside the area before striker Robin van Persie sealed the three points with a second just before half time, rounding Tim Howard and cooly slotting home for 2-0. The victory moves United 12 points clear of second-placed Manchester City and puts Sir Alex Ferguson’s men firmly in control of the title race. Watch the goals here:
