Manchester United Under-21′s edged out fierce rivals Liverpool thanks to a last minute winner from defender Michele Fornasier on Monday night.

Liverpool fielded a strong team at Langtree Park for the game with Raheem Sterling, Andre Wisdom, Jonjo Shelvey and Suso all named in the starting eleven but their task was made more difficult when Stephen Sama was dismissed for two bookable offences early in the second half. Despite being a man down the Reds created several chances but United made them pay with centre-back Fornasier firing home the winner in injury-time. Watch the goal below:
