Chelsea overcame a stubborn West Bromwich Albion side 1-0 at Stamford Bridge to reclaim third place in the Premier League table.

Striker Demba Ba got the winner when he tapped home from close range inside the half-hour mark following a clever knock down from defender David Luiz. The visitors pushed for an equaliser and the home side had Petr Cech to thank for keeping them at bay late on, but the Blues hung on to move back above Spurs into third.
