After an impressive opening, the visitors fell behind when Bale sprung the offside trap to cooly slot home past Szczesny for 1-0 midway through the first half. Spurs made it 2-0 shortly after in almost identical circumstances, Lennon the one through on goal this time but the winger opted to round the keeper to tap home in to an empty net.

I posted on another site that all gooners had better beware as they would not have had to suffer Spuds fans when they were above us in the league, I have, many years ago and the best description I can give is its like a Millwall fan who’s lost his class. Be afraid be very afraid

aNONYINH X 1000,000 TIME FOR THE SELFISH BOARD & COACH, u buy impact players and bring them in80 minutes of playing time,or sell them, or substitute them for Rosicky vs Arteta + Jenkinson who were doing well!!! Madnesss. We are to pla in europa bse of wenger’s sturboness to sell song no.6 and fail to replace him. This is the cause of today’s 2 goals. The coach, Board and non-impact players should give way for new blood with purpose and focus. Enough is enough.
