Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have been put on alert with the news that target Heung-Min Son has rejected Hamburg’s latest contract offer, according to the Express.

The report claims the highly-rated forward is out of contract in 2014 and has thrown his future into doubt after turning down Hamburg’s latest offer of a three-year extension that would have seen him tied to the club until 2017.

The Express are reporting that the 20-year-old has attracted interest from throughout Europe with Premier League quartet Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd and Tottenham all understood to be tracking him closely, as well as German duo Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen.

The players agent, Thies Bliemeister, confirmed they are under no pressure from Hamburg to sign a new deal and Son will decide his future based on what’s best for his development.

“We are under no pressure from HSV.

“Everything has to fit. We have clear ideas, and first of all they centre on Son’s development.

“If his development is right, he will earn enough anyway.”  Bliemeister is quoted as saying by the Express

Son joined Hamburg’s youth team in 2008 from local side FC Seoul before breaking into the senior set-up in 2010. He has gone on to make 68 appearances for the German outfit scoring 17 goals, including 9 this season, and has also earned 20 caps for South Korea despite his tender age of just 20.

He’s certainly a talent and if he fails to agree terms over a new deal with Hamburg, it seems there is going to be plenty of interest in his signature, with a move to England a distinct possibility.
