Manchester City take on Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday lunchtime looking to keep alive their fading hopes of defending their Premier League trophy.

City head into the weekends action trailing league leaders Manchester United by 12 points so Roberto Mancini knows victory in Saturday’s early kick is vital if their to put any sort of pressure on their rivals.

Sergio Aguero misses the game meaning Carlos Tevez and Eden Dzeko start up front. Kolo Toure is preferred to Joleon Lescott at the back with Vincent Kompany still on the sidelines. Yaya Toure also misses out through illness.
