[Video Goals] Swansea 0-2 Arsenal: Monreal & Gervinho On Target For Gunners

By on March 16, 2013

Arsenal put in another professional away display to see-off Swansea City 2-0 at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday afternoon to mount the pressure on Chelsea and Tottenham.

After an even first half, the Gunners took control of the game after the break and took a deserved lead when January signing Nacho Monreal was on hand to open his account for the club with a left footed finish from inside the area. Arsenal restricted the home side to few chances and killed the game off in injury time when substitutes Aaron Ramsey and Gervinho combined with the Ivory Coast international making it 2-0.

The win moves Arsenal to within two points of fourth-placed Chelsea and four-points of third-placed Tottenham with their rivals both playing at home on Sunday. Watch the goals here:

Now that gunners are out of champions league, they should work hard as a team to ensure that they qualified for next season UEFA CL.
