Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny has dismissed speculation over his future by insisting he has no intention of leaving the Emirates any time soon, according to Sky Sports.

Koscielny joined the Gunners from Lorient in 2010 and has racked up over 100 first team appearances so far, but Sky Sports claim the 27-year-old has been linked with a move away from Arsenal this summer after losing his place in Arsene Wenger’s starting line-up earlier this season.

However, the French international has been back in the starting eleven in recent weeks ahead of captain Thomas Vermaelen and he’s helped the club to two consecutive clean sheets during away victories over Bayern Munich and Swansea.

Koscielny has now revealed he has no intention of leaving Arsenal any time soon and insists the team will fight till the end to secure a place in the top-four this season.

“My contract lasts for another four years,  I have no wish to be elsewhere.”

“Arsenal will fight until the end to be in the Champions League, It will be difficult, but we will give everything.” Koscielny is quoted as saying by Sky Sports

Koscielny has all the ingredients to be a top defender for AFC so I’m happy if he stays at the club. We’ve looked far more solid with him playing next to Per Mertesacker in recent games but I’d still like to see the boss sign another quality center-back in the summer to give us some real depth in that area.
