Sow: Open to Liverpool move

Fenerbahce striker Moussa Sow has opened the door to a move to Liverpool amid reports that Brendan Rodgers is lining up a summer bid, according to talkSPORT.

The report claims that Rodgers is expected to renew his interest in Sow after failing to land the Senegalese hitman during the January transfer window when the Turkish club refused to do business.

The Merseysiders have now received a boost after the 27-year-old revealed he’s keen to play in England and would be happy to make the move to Anfield if the Premier League outfit come calling again this summer.

“There is a lot of talk. Everyone knows I want to play in the Premier League one day,”

“If Liverpool made a formal offer and if my club accepted I would be happy to play in England.” Sow is quoted as saying by talkSPORT

Sow only joined Fenerbahce from Lille in January 2012 in a deal worth £8.5m and has gone on to score 25 goals in 57 appearances, with his 14 league goals this season key in helping Fener keep pace with Galatasaray at the top of the Turkish Super Lig.
