Southampton added to their giant-killing scalps this season with a 2-1 win over Chelsea at St Mary’s on Saturday afternoon.

The Saints went ahead through Rodriguez before John Terry headed home the equaliser from a 33rd minute corner. However, striker Lambert fired home a stunning 25-yard free-kick just 2 minutes later to win it for Southampton as they hung on for a valuable three points.

The win moves the Saints up to 13th in the table while Chelsea drop to fourth after Tottenham’s 2-1 win at Swansea and are now just two points ahead of Arsenal who beat Reading 4-1. Watch all the goals from Southampton’s win over Chelsea below:
