Atletico Madrid are looking to sell long-term Arsenal and Tottenham target Adrian Lopez this summer but Liverpool and Everton could also enter the chase, according to talkSPORT.

After a fairly modest start to his career, the 25-year-old made his breakthrough season last term when his 19 goals in all competitions helped Atletico seal the Europa League and finish third in La Liga to qualify for this years Champions League.

However, Adrian has failed to continue his form this season, managing just 4 goals this entire campaign, and he’s recently fallen down the pecking order at the Vicente Calderón Stadium.

Arsenal and Tottenham have been linked with Adrian as far back as last summer and talkSPORT claim the north London duo are ready to renew their interest as Atletico look to cash in this summer, with both Arsene Wenger and Andre Villas-Boas believed to be on the look-out for new strikers.

But the report suggests the Londoners may face stiff competition for the Spanish strikers signature from Premier League rivals Liverpool and Everton, who’re both understood to hold an interest in Adrian too and may try to lure the player to Merseyside this summer.

It will be fascinating to see how this develops if all four clubs follow up their reported interest at the end of the season and it could end up being a straight shoot-out between north London and Merseyside for the strikers signature.
