Chelsea beat Rubin Kazan 3-1 in the first leg of their Europa League quarter final clash with Fernando Torres bagging a brace.

The Blues took an early lead when Torres bundled home before Victor Moses made it 2-0 with a fine strike from the edge of the area. The visitors then grabbed what could turn out to be a vital away goal from the penalty spot just before half time when Terry was adjudged to have handled in the area but Torres restored Chelsea’s 2-goal cushion with a 70th minute header.
