Despite the transfer window being closed there is still plenty of gossip doing the rounds in the newspapers so we’ll keep you up-to-date with the latest transfer rumours. Today, Chelsea and Liverpool are linked with Marko Dabro.

HNK Cibalia’s sporting director, Drazen Pernar, claims Premier League duo Chelsea and Liverpool are among the clubs who’ve made contact over the potential signing of starlet Marko Dabro, according to the Express.

Dabro has emerged as one of Croatia’s most exciting young talents after breaking into the Cibalia first team squad this season and became the youngest ever player to make an appearance in the Croatian top flight aged just 16.

It seems the strikers potential hasn’t gone unnoticed throughout Europe with director Pernar claiming Chelsea and Liverpool have joined the likes of Juventus, Parma and Roma in holding talks with the club over his availability, while Bayern Munich and Manchester City are also said to be keeping tabs on the player.

However, it appears Fiorentina may be the front-runners with Pernar revealing the Italian outfit have tabled an offer for the highly-rated hitman:

“On the table we have an official offer from Fiorentina, whose delegation was our guest about two months ago and we’ve visited Florence two or three times.

“Direct contacts are still with Roma, Parma and Juventus, as well as two English clubs in whose camps are actively involved, they are Chelsea and Liverpool.

“Bayern Munich and Manchester City are waiting in line to talk to him too.” Pernar is quoted as saying by the Express.
