[Teams] Reading vs Liverpool: Confirmed Line-ups

By on April 13, 2013

Reading welcome Liverpool to the Madejski Stadium on Saturday afternoon looking to try and pull off a miraculous escape.

The Royals head into the game sitting bottom of the Premier League table and a full eight points from safety so victory today is vital if they’re to have any hopes of staying in the top flight. The Reds on the other hand are seventh and could climb above rivals Everton into sixth with a win today.

Boss Brendan Rodgers has made one change from the side that drew with West Ham last time out with Daniel Sturridge coming in for Stewart Downing, with the winger being forced off with illness last weekend. Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Reading Team

McCarthy; Gunter, Morrison, Mariappa, Kelly; Karacan, Guthrie; McAnuff, Hunt, McCleary; Pogrebnyak.

Subs: Taylor, Harte, Pearce, Carrico, Le Fondre, Blackman.

Liverpool Team

Reina, Enrique, Johnson, Carragher, Agger, Lucas, Henderson, Gerrard, Sturridge, Suarez, Coutinho.

Subs: Jones, Assaidi, Downing, Coates, Suso, Shelvey, Skrtel.
