Mourinho Set To Snub Chelsea Return

Jose Mourinho is ready to snub a return to Chelsea this summer and see out the remaining year of his contract at Real Madrid, according to the Mirror.

The report claims the Portuguese coach had initially been expected to leave the Bernabeu at the end of the season after a turbulent year in Spain and has been strongly linked with a sensational return to Stamford Bridge this summer after admitting his next managerial job will be in England.

However, the Mirror now understand from ‘sources’ close to Mourinho that the 50-year-old will delay his return to the Premier League and see-out the final year of his contract with Madrid.

Mourinho won the La Liga title last season but Madrid have put in a disappointing defence of their title this campaign, currently trailing league leaders Barcelona by 16 points, but they are in the semi finals of the Champions League and on course for a dream final with Barca at Wembley if the Spanish duo can navigate past Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich respectively.

Reports of dressing room bust ups with senior members of the Real squad have lead to rumours of a return to Chelsea this summer and Mourinho has himself admitted the speculation over his future is harmful to the club and he intends to sit down with president Florentino Perez at the end of the season.

However, the Mirror claims Mourinho is ready to stay in Spain and see-out his contract raising doubts over whether he’ll ever manage Chelsea again. With Rafa Benitez leaving his interim role in the summer, Roman Abramovich is on the look-out for a new manager and many thought this was the perfect time for Jose to make a dramatic return to west London.

But it seems he could be set to disappoint millions of Chelsea fans and stay in Spain for another year. If that’s the case, who would Blues fans like to see come to the club? Get involved in the comments section below.

Yeah sure we all want Jose to come back but is that really in the best intrest of our club?
yes he is good and prob the best in the world but remember that he has always had a good team to start with when joining a club, we have a lot of young players and for me Jose can not bring up young players and turn them into ‘machines’ we nead a manager that can start with a fresh team and make them rivals to every other team

Haha, Jose Mourinho is coming to Chelsea, the deal has already been agreed. POXY MEDIA always trying to through a spanner in the works. Find something with truth to write when you’re bored, rather that pathetically speculate. We the fans have had enough.

Jose is not the best for Chelsea now. He is the best if Roman will let him come with his preferred player in all the previous clubs he coached. He will then relegate De Bruine, Piazon, Hazard jnr, Islam Feruz, Lukaku, Josh, and others to the background. What kind of coach is that? Then when these recruites can’t perform to optimum again, he looks for another club. We don’t need a Hit and Run coach. We need a Chelsea mgr that will guide the team to a pattern peculiar to Chelsea. We must not win the league every year but Chelsea should not be struggling for top 4 judging from the investment in young players and Mgt.
