We all know about Jack Wilshere,Aaron Ramsey and Kieron Gibbs but who are the next kids to come through the Arsenal academy?Ive seen a lot of the young players and ive picked out the best in my opinion.

Jay Thomas – Big strong and technically excellant but one problem remains!Which is his best position?

Manny Frimpong – A mini Michael Essien,if not for injury he would be pushing for a Carling Cup start.

Benik Afobe – A natural centre forward and goalscorer. His goal scoring record at junior level is outstanding.Very quick and lethal in front of goal.

Chucks Aneke – Chuks is a gem of a footballer who possesses everything in his locker.Tall, powerful with fantastic balance and technique.I couldn’t think of a player from the past who Chuks reminds me off.

Nico Yennaris – When Arsenal legend Liam Brady picks out and praises a young player then you know you have a class act on your hands.Nico was signed on pro terms despite missing a whole season through injury.A defensive midfield playmaker who can also play at right back,Nico can rise right to the very top of his profession.

Add to these players such as Kyle Bartley, Oguzhan Ozyakup ,Ignasi Miquel and Martin Angha the future and Arsene Wengers vision looks sure to pay fruition in the years to come.

I think your question should have been: “Who is Arsenal best English young player ?” That’s what you’re interested in, isn’t it?

All good shouts, interested to see how the young Brazilian, Wellington Da Silva performs if he gets a chance. Found a good site trying to look for reserve games that shows you whenver Arsenal are on TV, even if one our players is on Question of Sport like Asharvin was, well useful!

Back in 2004, when we had Flamini, Pennant, Van Persie, Artulo Lupoli, Cesc, quincy and many others as the young players, it was said that the future is in safe hands. I trust by future then it was meant year 2010 or there abouts. We are not sure if we will win something this season. Let us conclude, that we need to balance our books, i mean, repay all the loans, and then develop an appetite to spend on players with the excess cash. From then we can talk of great things

Chuks Aneke is special. He actually reminds me of a young Zidane. He has vision, skills and strength. He’s not the quickest but nor was Zizou.
