Chelsea have joined Arsenal and Manchester United in registering an interest in Barcelona attacker Alexis Sanchez – who’s expected to leave the Nou Camp this summer, according to the Express.

Sanchez moved to Barcelona in 2011 from Italian side Udinese and enjoyed an excellent first season in Spain, scoring 12 goals in his 25 league appearances. However, he’s failed to maintain that form this campaign, scoring just 5 league goals so far, and has struggled to hold down a regular first team place leading to question marks over his future.

The Express claims Arsenal are interested in luring Sanchez to England this summer while newly-crowned Premier League champions Manchester United are also thought to be keeping tabs on the Chilean winger.

However, the duo now appear to have competition from rivals Chelsea with the newspaper suggesting the west Londoners have also registered their interest in the 24-year-old.

With owner Roman Abramovich understood to be ready to open the cheque book once again to add firepower to the Blues squad, the report claims Sanchez will sit down with his agent at the end of the season to decide what’s best for his future and it seems he may have plenty of options if he wants to try his luck in the Premier League.
